I love a corn straw broom, and I use them until the bristles have worn past the sewing lines and leave more straw than dirt. This usually takes 10+ years. So when my current broom reached this point, I started looking for a replacement The brooms in the stores were HALF the thickness of my old broom and had skinny metal handles. Basically, they were not worth the $10-15 price tag. So I looked online and found this broom.

It took me a few days to pull the trigger because of the price but I’m so glad I did! This particular broom is black (which I LOVE), the sweeping part is so THICK and sturdy, ( it can stand on its own), and the wooden handle, (broomstick) is at least 1.5” inches diameter and SOLID. It’s also long enough for someone who is a bit taller .
Do not let the price discourage you. This broom is exceptionally well made, and is probably under priced. We’re so used to only finding cheap, poorly made products, that we have a hard time buying a quality product for a little more. Don’t fall into that trap! This is a wonderful broom and an excellent value!!

I'm living the corduroy and velvet fabric I've received from Longan Crafts. Pretty quick shipping. Just had a little trouble straightening out the grain on the black cotton corduroy. But made it work.
